Laura is a Colorado native, and has called Grand Junction her home for 20 years. She got into design after taking a class in high school called Graphic Communications. The first time she got to put together a packaging mockup from computer paper using a design she had created, she was hooked! She went on to attend Colorado Mesa University and obtained a BFA in Graphic Design with a concentration in print in 2013.
Laura has worked in the design field ever since, first as the sole designer at a screen print/promotional products/sportswear company from 2013-2017, and is now working for The Daily Sentinel, the leading newspaper of the Western Slope. Here she designs ads for Real Estate Weekly as well as ads for local magazines.
In her free time, Laura often does freelance design work, since she is always looking to expand her creative and technical skills in this ever-changing field. She also likes painting watercolors, cooking, hiking, brewing beer, watching movies, and spending time with her boyfriend and their furbabies, BB and JP.
